Counselling and Talk Therapy
Choosing a counsellor is like choosing a house or a partner - the chemistry is there or it isn't. If you are seeking counselling, I urge you to meet several and find someone you feel you really connect with.
I have a lot of experience working with individuals and families in transition and navigating the mental health system. I also work with people bereaved by suicide, ending relationships, recovering from difficult childhoods, family violence, and experiencing emotional dysregulation (BPD). I am also skilled supporting individuals and whānau navigating cross-cultural relationships and transitions. I have particular skill and interest working in and across Islamic and South East Asian cultures.
